no more educator, educated?

Yesterday, 30 April is the last day in the month of April 2009. He he he. Addition to that, yesterday is also the last day of me being the subtitute teacher in the Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dong. The best part is, I am leaving the position for a better option - not kicked out or giving up. This week is also the fourth week of my stay there as Ms Chin Bee Hia but this week is the first week I am taking over another 3 subjects namely : Science Form 4, Chemistry Form 4, Chemistry Form 5 instead of just Science Form 5 because these three are taken by practical teacher from UPSI who happen to end their service last week. Just as my personal note, the practical teacher are
  • Nik Ameer Syazwan
  • Nurul Akma
  • Intan
  • Mazrah
  • Leha and her friend =P
  • Novah
As challenge I faced is the 5 class I teached are very much different in attitude and focus. 1 class for Science Form 5 are the class which never yet PASS their test -_-". Another one class for the same subject is also swarmed by red pen marks just the y are worst because they don't stay in class. Half didn't really care about skipping school, some love to skip classes and the rest prefer to rest than hear anything the teachers said.

The class for Science Form 4 is a huge class thus making transferring and capturing their attention become hard and their lack of interest make me had to neglect them to given chance for those who want to score As.

As for Chemistry class, the form 5 students had a moderate result but they are dedicated and some of them even came to extra class which I made for "those who are interested to get A only" which I expect nobody will turn out. This kind of attitude is important for their future thus I had to do a lot of studies so they can gain sufficient knowledge to get A compared to strategy to make the student at least pass the exam for Science classes.

In Form 4 Chemistry class, some of the students are already my students at the tuition center. They can answer basic questions very good and they show potential to excel in the incoming SPM next year. My students in this class also frequently came to my table in Teacher's Room to learn Additional Mathematic while they had free time.

For those in PTNJ, I hope my success will be their motivation, inspiration and their benchmark to be overcome. For those student who want to be "Electrical/Electronic Engineer". Study more, Dating less, Effort more, Complaint less.

This might be the last entry in this blog since I am not sure of my internet source after this. Thank you for those reading this blog.
