As for this part, I would like to minimize timeline and hitting the bush story. much focus on what I am disappointed with the HTAA kuantan
1. The doctor in-charge for inner body part just make 2-day check, ask my father to fasting and then leave him on the bed for the rest of the day. No follow-up check, no changing of fasting status (which also led to lost of voice through dryness of throat).
2. The bone doctor visit daily but keep on repeating the same thing over and over while the operation can only take place 3 weeks (it would be half day only in private hospital) after the accident (which my father never even had the chance to survive until then)
3. The trainee is given the chance to treat the critical patient - it is very painful to see some lady pushing and pulling needle into you sick father's hand and after 3-4 tries, then she give up and let other doctor do it.
4. The screw tied to the skull (the left side) somehow had problem and the skull been bleeding for 2 days. The doctor aware of that but the solution is "wait, see, change the dressing"
5. After the bleeding at the skull and daily blood testing, one stupid doctor propose something "pakcik punya darah kurang, mungkin ada pendarahan dalam perut, saya kena cek" - That is so stupid considering I am completely aware where the blood goes and the "fasting" status doesn't help any blood generation for 2 weeks.
6. The ICU doctor doesn't really care about the load pulling the skull. When ask, they responded "He can't be move anymore" but isn't the main point of the pulling is to protect the nerve? that might also be the contributing factor you moron doctor!
7. The X-ray suppose to be made daily but one Saturday, there is no x-ray : to many patient use the X-ray. what?? then on the Sunday, we have to push the bed toward a very long journey to the x-ray room for the x-ray picture. But, the funny thing is, on the night, actually, the x-ray machine is a portable one, it mean that pushing the bed had unnecessarily been done and also unnecessarily make the patient in great pain.
8. still on X-ray. Since the bed is designed using metal, everytime x-ray need to be done, the fractured neck and backbone will be lift just to put a piece of board under it. daily x-ray, great painful movement everyday. I guess, it is time for the government to really scraping the obsolete technology.
9. every 3 day, each unable to move patient should be turn upside down. that is the purpose of the turning bed which my father is on. the turning can help the patient by cleaning their back and prevent rashes. Every "Pakar" highlighting that but the so called "Pakar" never really do any. The nurse are so undertrain/scared so the turning is only don after 10 days just to discovered the back of my father already badly injured and full with rashes till my mother even cry just to see that.
10. Another tricky part about turning, it is not to be done too frequently because the patient will suffered from short of breath. But some other doctor is trying to be pro and want my father to be turn again on the other day with bunch of untrained nurses which one of them doesn't really know how to tie the patient hand (which led my father arm to stuck on the first try) and also doesn't have any idea how to cover the patient face on the upside down position (which then one of the cloth that suppose to support the chin is not even close to the chin) and that lead my father to a great amount of suffering - fractured neck with no support? upside position? and then he lost his conciusness - send to ICU - lost his life!
other patients :
1. one patient had to stay in the hospital 20 days while waiting for his operation time. And when the time come, he is being delayed again - no blood matching his blood type, A-. Which is so stupid? why don't use the 20 days to collect them? his family are happy to help but the hospital never even asked them.
2. One boy is cemented one arm, bone fractured on both legs. One leg is using the outside metal technique while the other one use metal implan. After 2 days, the metal implan already been misplace. What is the point of having a metal implan if the implan is not staticly holding the bone?
